| Latticed Butterfly - Chaetodon rafflesiThis butterfly can sometimes be difficult to acclimate to the home aquarium. Providie it with peaceful surroundings, a varied diet and lots of hiding places. It may quarrel with other chaetodontids (especially those that are similar in color), but usually ignores unrelated fish species. Live foods, pieces of live rock with some encrusting invertebrates and algae on them, or a tank with a lush growth of filamentous algae will assist in their acclimation. When sleeping, or stressed, the color of this species becomes darker and it exhibits a dark blotch on the anterior part of the body.
