Clark's Clownfish is one of the sturdier and more readily available members of the genus. Coloration is variable. Smaller specimens in the trade tend to be orangish overall, whereas other individuals (including larger specimens) are darker overall. This is one of the most common of the clownfishes in the aquarium trade. Naturally occurs in more anemones than any other clownfish!

This is the black varient of this species.

This beauty is bright reddish-orange overall, with a black saddle on the back. Younger specimens may have a white bar on the side of the head. While this can be a durable aquarium. This can be an aggressive fish that should not be kept with smaller, more passive tankmates. Naturally occurs in Bubbletip and Sebae Anemones.

The Pink Skunk Clownfish is often even less durable than other clownfishes. It can be very aggressive toward members of its own species, but it is rarely aggressive towards other clownfishes. Naturally occurs in Sebae, Magnificent, Long Tentacled, and Giant Carpet Anemones.

Like most angels, larger specimens begin feeding more cautiously, but can do well in the proper hands. Do not keep juveniles together, or with any other juveniles of this genus that are similar in general color.

While this popular species can do well when their requirements are met, they are somewhat fragile the do not tolerate careless handling and require excellent water quality and exceptionally peaceful tankmates. Small specimens are more delicate than medium or larger specimens. The Copperband is often used to rid reef aquariums of Aiptasia anemones. Most individuals can be kept in a reef tank with most soft corals and small-polyped stony corals, although some may nip at large-polyped stony corals, certain soft corals (including xeniids and clavulariids) and zoanthids.

This popular species is purple overall with vertical stripes on the side, and varying amount of orange. This is a popular member of this genus that is typically not as aggressive as many of its relatives. As for all pygmy angels, live rock or a growth of filamentous algae may facilitate acclimation.

Emperors Angels imported from Sri Lanka are regarded as the ultimate Emperor Angel. They are virtually never collected there at less than 6". Most specimens are in the 6"+ range, larger being more often available. The tail and overall color is more intense than those from other areas, perhaps due to the consistently excellent handling our specimens receive. Remember, if you want an emperor angel less than 6", you need the regular Emperator Angelfish
